What was the highlight of Jen Ju Hotel
Horrible.
Conveniently located in a lively area.
After many years, this is my first negative rating. The owner (an old woman that couldn't understand Mandarin well, didn't even try English, probably half deaf) was very unpleasant, not wanting to help in any way and not caring about anything. The room was horribly small, not clean, super old and the bed could be compared to a simple wood board, would rather sleep on the floor. Pillows and bedding were stinky. We left the first day for another accommodation.

Good location, very old hotel.
great location.
the place is very old and is being run by a very old couple who can't take very good care at this point (and don't speak english). The room itself was very moisty and the entire place was smelling of cigarettes, the tiles in the bathtub were broken and the bed sheets where not very clean. Also, the owner tried to get into our room 30 minutes before check-out time without even knocking.

It could be better
Hidden away in a little court yard, private and low key. Plenty of action close by, so won’t be bored. Very basic but comfortable for the price.
Little bit run down, seems to be run by a couple of very old people who really can’t be arsed with it all. (can’t blame them really). Could done with a new lease of live.

Last minute cheap buy
A cheap old hotel. But everythings works and clean. Good enough to stay for the night.
Very small room. Understandable for its price. Could not communicate with the aunty. I thinks the local youngster uses the hotel as u know what so that can be a bit . But the beddings look cleans.
